What is Vigilant TV?

Vigilant TV is an archive of news and commentary about the relationship between liberty and technology. It is written and edited in Australia by an anonymous conspiracy of cypherpunks and crypto-anarchists.

Vigilant TV was first established under a different name in December 2000, making it one of Australia’s first and longest running political weblogs. Its present title and domain name were adopted in December 2002.

Media Enquiries

As a rule, Vigilant TV’s editors do not accept invitations for on-air interviews. Our contact email address for other queries is vigilant at vigilant.tv. Heavy spam filters are in use, so please phrase your request carefully.

Linking Policy

The editors of Vigilant TV do not participate in link exchanges. All links listed in the “sources” block are web sites we visit on a regular basis; as such they are limited in quantity and often change to reflect our reading habits. If you run a news oriented blog or web site you think we should link to, you’re welcome to email us, but don’t be offended if we turn you down.

We don’t have one of those laughable policies that attempts to assert control over who links to our web site, or by what method. The official name and URL is Vigilant TV, but you can call us anything you please and link to any page you like.

Privacy Policy

You don’t know who we are, and vice versa. Why would you trust anonymous strangers to protect your privacy? We sure don’t. Assume the worst, and protect your own privacy. We’ll do the same.
